Can’t get Vudu connected. iTunes and Amazon are all set.

What about 4K support?

Vudu supposed to be working by 10am PST today.

App won't do 4K. But movies should port to each retailer and you can watch directly with that retailer.

iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1245330908

Google: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...esanywhere.goo

Roku: https://channelstore.roku.com/detail...ovies-anywhere

that $2.50 LEGO Batman I bought on Amazon is now a 4K title on iTunes!!

Is it actually playing for you in 4K? Some ported movies aren’t but I’m not sure if it’s just Apples halfassed rollout of 4K. For example the LEGO movie shows 4K but only plays in HD.

just signed up and linked my itunes .. so if i redeem a UV code and then go into my itunes it should be there ?

UV is still alive and kicking. MA replaces DMA and now has the following studios Disney, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros.

If you look at a movie in Vudu for example, you'll now see either no UV symbol, a single UV symbol, a single MA symbol or both. Take Wonder Woman for example:

This is both UV and MA.

However, take something from Paramount like Transformers:

This is still just UV.

While all of this is true, if you redeem a UV code that is also included in Movies Anywhere on your Movies Anywhere account, instead of through UV, it will redeem directly there, and be visible in iTunes right away. I've tested this, and it works great.

Are prices going to have to align now? If not why wouldn't you just purchase a supported studio title in itunes even if you wanted to watch on Vudu? Or does a 4K/HDR itunes purchase not necessarily get you the 4K/HDR Vudu version?

Yeah moving forward it will be interesting to see how codes play out.

Anybody know whether you can redeem UV codes directly the Movies Anywhere app ? Or do you need to do it in the Vudu app ?

If the code if from a studio that's a member of MA, then you can redeem in the app or on the site or I'm guessing on most retailers. Vudu has already updated their redeem graphics. If you try to redeem a code from a studio that's not a member, it will say invalid.

Lego movie is playing in 4K Dolby Vision for me.

Screen Shot 2017-10-12 at 8.44.03 AM.png I get this screen and it seems to connect and link.

Just me keep getting "Unable to register. Please try again or contact Movies Anywhere Customer Service." ?

You're right. I've also noticed that not all of the movies I own in iTunes are showing up on Movies Everywhere. Is that a studio/distributor thing?

Only these studios are in MA right now:
Disney, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros.

An easy way to see if a movie is MA is to look on Vudu. Find the movie and see if it has the MA logo.

Yep, you're right. Checked the movie Allied in Vudu and it does not have the MA logo, and therefore not in my Movies Everywhere library. It doesn't really matter because I watch everything on my ATV 4K. Thanks for the insight.
