Movies in 4K?

I have a 4th Generation Apple TV non 4K. If I want to purchase warrior on iTunes. I plan on buying the 4K Apple TV next week. Once I buy it, will the warrior movie be upgraded to 4K automatically or will I have to repurchase it at 4K?

Yes if you buy it now in 4k it will play in 1080p and when you get the atv4k it will play in 4k

Seems to have been issued on UHD Bluray already, so there shouldn't be a reason why not. Lionsgate is represented in iTunes as well, so the studio should also be Apple-friendly enough.

I get the impression that, with the speed in which iTunes is getting 4K DV HDR film, on a daily basis here in the UK, 25% or even half of its catalogue will get the remastered 4K treatment by this time next year! LET'S SEE 🙂
I remember older films all appeared in HD overnight for nearly everything in the summer of 2013.
