moving a photo

hey guys is there any way to transfer a photo from my macbook to an sd card? might be a stupid question but i am a computer moron!

You have to put the SD card into an SD card reader then it will show up under your drives, drag and drop the photo there.

You said MacBook (no SD card reader)

If it's a MacBook Pro it'll have a SD card reader / writer and you can just drag and drop files into or out of it.
