I'm still trying to figure out the best and smoothest way using iTunes 11.1 to move an app's icon from one folder to another if those folders are not next to each other. I've been able to do it, but the procedure seems to require jumping through all manner of hoops because of the distance in iTunes between one home screen and another that might be several pages away.

It seems to me that one should be able to "click" on an icon and then just pick it up and move it to the page or folder where you want it to reside, but I haven't been able to make that happen that way.

This is the only "help" I see in iTunes for the procedure, and it really is no help at all:

Select apps to install on your iPhone or drag apps to a specific screen.
Drag to rearrange apps, screens, and pages.

    Yeah, thanks.

Is there a detailed written down or video procedure for this yet?
