I've just picked up a new iPhone and want to move my series 2 AW to the new phone and retain the workout data etc.
However I also want to set the phone up as fresh and not do an iCloud restore as I've done before.
Can I do this? If so, can someone list the steps please?

I seem to remember that last year when I got a new phone I had to do a restore from the previous iCloud backup to keep the data.

I have the same question. Wanting to setup my iPhone as new, but keep my activity/health data. Anyone done this?

Unfortunately, the ONLY place you can backup Watch data is on the phone, which then becomes part of your iCloud/iTunes phone backup.

So, no.... you can't set up a phone as new and not do the same with the watch.

Yes you can! Just make sure both phones have the iCloud Health tab turned on! It will sync under WiFi.
