Hi All,

I've had the below case in the link since iPhone 4s, obviously each case for its model.

I'm looking for a case thats like them a heavy duty type of case, any good recommendations?

The reason i'm pulling away from Spigen is that i cracked the plastic cover at the back and wanted to get a new one. Unfortunately i've had 3 sent to me and the iPhone doesn't fit the case or the separate hard plastic doesn't clip on to the flexi plastic as well and keeps flying off.

Preferable i'd like one that doesn't have a cover going over the front of the iPhone.

Spigen Touch Armour Case

For heavy duty and thin....Speck Mightyshell, Otterbox Symmetry, Thule Atmos x3 are my top recommendations.
I don't have any experience with the Otterbox Symmetry, but I agree that the Speck Mightyshell and Thule Atmos x3 are very good cases for your needs...and if you were to decide that you wanted a built in screen protector, their cousins--Speck Mightyshell with Faceplate and Thule Atmos X4--would be great choices too!

Unfortunately i can't seem to find the Speck Mightyshell for an iPhone 6+ in the UK :( The Otterbox seems very identical to the Spigen one, Thule looked a bit too bulky? But then it is hard to go with pictures provided i could be complete wrong.

Just a shame the last few cases from Spigen haven't been right, as i've said i've had them since my 4s!

well, that went to plan... looking around at the cases above and any others from the forum and Amazon, and i've bought another Spigen case.... It's their slim armour range so it's the one down from there tough armour.

this will be there last chance.... if not the Otterbox it is!

Let us know how the new Spigen works out. I have both the Speck Mightyshell and Otterbox Symmetry for my 5S and really like both. The Mightyshell provides better grip and in my opinion somewhat better protection, but is more bulky than the Otterbox Symmetry. Again, this is on a 5S not the 6+.

Just got it today, fits really well compared to the errors I've had to what the heavy duty Spigen case's.

Feels a bit different but this case is the 'slim armor' case compared to the heavy duty. I'll put some pictures of it on here later.

Not much difference between the two except on the heavy duty, it has 4 small buffers on each corner on the back of the iPhone case, so that it end up getting scratched on the back (which it does after time). Button covers on each side aren't as bulky to give it them 'slim' feel, only thing which will take adjusting is the silent button the case is cut out so you can get it, but you too dig into it a bit to move it. (I'll show in pictures)

Sent Spigen an email direct to them not via Amazon, not going to lie the response back from Spigen was so blank.

They really didn't seem to care and just said thanks for me complimenting them on their case but said its an issue that had to resolved with Amazon. I see were there coming from but I wanted to see if they could advise anything and just let them know direct as who knows if Amazon would actually tell them.

Quite disappointed with them, but this current case from them seems to be working well!

the first two pictures are of the old case with the split around the back on the Apple logo, there is also another split at the bottom (which i didn't take a photo of), the 2nd two are of the new case.

I have to say the more i get use to it the better the slim armour feels. Happy with the choice so far.
