So I've removed the beta profile from my iPhone I'm currently on build 15a5362a. When the final gets pushed out in a couple hours will I be able to get the final build? And if I do will the Feedback app be removed?

I plan to back up my phone to my computer and restore it from back up with a clean install of the new public release.

Couldn't quite remember is the feedback apps will be removed. May be not, but really can't remember.

From memory, you won't get any OTA update if running GM. GM is not a beta, it's a final candidate, much less testing, logging, reporting activities in the background. And the system won't consider itself a beta as well. So, when you check if update avail. The system may not gives you any update via OTA, because the current version will 11.0 and you already have 11.0. It's more about iOS version number, but not build number.

if you have removed beta profile, feedback app should have been disappeared.

"should" being the operative word. It never did and I've reset the phone a few times since (soft not hard)

If you remove the beta profile alone the FB app won't go away. You have to press the "leave beta program" button from the Apple's beta website. At least that's how I managed to get rid of it when I had the Beta 4 installed since removing the beta profile alone in settings would not remove the app.

Why not install the GM via the beta profile first? The most recent version OTA update for beta members is 15A372 which is the GM.

Also be sure to restart your device after deleting the profile for the changes to take effect.

You need to restart the device (power down / power on) for that to go away.

I can't download the GM Beta since I don't have a beta profile on my phone.

Done that powered on and off multiple times and it's still there.

Might be built into the Public Beta 9 (Dev Beta 10) build you're currently on then. It disappeared on the GM for me as soon as I deleted the profile and restarted. Who knows.

I think I did something similar, not really quit beta on this kind of early beta, but leave beta on those minor OS update. I pretty sure the feedback assistance stays there, and actually I can use it to feedback the normal OS bugs.

Most likely it won't disappear until you install the final release. May be you should try a iTunes OS update on this release.

i have installed beta profile when the gm was released. after update, feedback app was there. removed the profile, feedback app was gone. i even didn't restart the device, as far as i remember. in your case, reinstalling the beta profile, updating to gm and then removing the profile again can make feedback app gone. since final release is an hour ahead (hopefully), no need to bother now.
