Well as I anticipate switching out my iPad Air2 to the iPad Pro I'm coming to the realization that a lot of my favorite bags aren't going to be able to accommodate the large iPad Pro. For instance my daily carry bag the Zip Brief from Waterfield Designs is is going to have have to be replaced with a larger version.

In particular I've got some combo camera/iPad bags that are going to have to be replaced if I want to tote the iPP around with my camera equipment. Luckily my ThinkTank camera backpack is going to work as I can use the laptop section for the iPP. But, for smaller bags I have from Incase Designs aren't going to cut it if I want to bring the iPP along.

I know this is pretty obvious, but the IPP is going to cost me in a way that I hadn't originally considered. For new devices I usually get a cheap bag or cover and see how the marketplace responds with nicer stuff.

Bag-gate?

Pretty obvious that if you get a device that is much larger than your previous devices then you might need some new bags to carry it in.

LOL! Yeah, I have a Solo sling bag that works great for my iPad Air and BT keyboard (and that's about it). I've started looking around for a good bag that's not going to break the bank. Solo has a bag I'm interested in but not sure if it'll hold an iPP w/case.

Is this 'gate' thing supposed to be joke where every little thing you put gate at the end of it? I don't get term or if it's a legit thing for tech devices.

There are cheap cases for laptops everywhere, that is the least of my concern as I need to get the dang thing to begin with.

I'm hoping Amazon Basics might have a decent bag. I have one for my Surface Pro and it fits everything, but in a nice, compact, padded package. (I think this was it: http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-...=1446738817&sr=8-3&keywords=amazon+basics+bag)

I see they have some different sizes, so I might give the 14" bag a try. (http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-...=1446738844&sr=8-2&keywords=amazon+basics+bag)

Thank you. I was hoping it would spark discussion on what is out there now, what we early adopters can consider. My OP message really was to get the discussion going. Some responders missed the joke part. The "Gate ;)" thing was a joke of course for all of those still wondering.
