Moving from LR to Photos....Extensions

My favorite is Luminar. I also use DxO’s plugin, which corrects lens distortion. Photos in High Sierra looks pretty go, BTW.

I haven't tried Luminar yet, and am waiting to see the High Sierra update to determine how much I need it.
Those are the ones I use most after making a similar transition.
You could also consider Pixelmator instead of Affinity. I have both, but that is redundant. Pixelmator is getting ready to release a "Pro" version. Affinity is more like Photoshop and works better for me most of the time.
