I have my Mac pro coming in tomorrow. I got the base model w/ 250 gigs of memory.

My current MBP has 200ish full with my music applications.

What are my options to move the data/system over

1) Migration assistant with time machine backup
2).....

I dont know of any other options.. however, I am curious if there is a solution where i can just connect two computers though a thunderbolt and just transfer data at super sonic speeds?

Looking forward to hear.. if nothing I will run the time machine backup tonight and will be ready for tomorrow!

Thanks

Does target disc mode work? I want to be able to use mac pro just as its my regular mac without any hiccups.. is this possible?
