Hi All - I am having so many issues with Music.app on my MacBook and I am trying to find how I can export my entire library to my Windows PC which has iTunes.

Anyone know how?

Might be good to know what issues you are having. Maybe we can solve them.
Unless you intend to generally use the Windows machine as your main music device in preference to your Mac, it doesn't make sense to run Apple apps in Windows. They never work as good.

OK let me add some detail.

Current setup: Using a MacBook with Music.app organising all my files in the MacOS Music Folder.

I would like to move all files/library (playlists, ratings, play count etc) to my PC.

I have already tried copying the Music folder etc, but importing the Library is proving difficult.

Right now I am trying to do it via Exporting the XML Playlist (on Mac), and importing it on PC (but it requires a lot of editing to the XML since things like %20 is added into each file name, the slashes are reversed etc).

I literally only have my MacBook for Music - but since Catalina and the whole Music.app thing I have lost Artwork, Music.app has butchered my files (added a 30s repeat to the end of each song), and most recently, duplicated every single song when synced to my iPhone.

Just make a new library. Untick (or uncheck) the boxes which say 'manage my library' and 'copy all imported to songs to the Music folder' (sorry i'm paraphrasing a bit, you'll know which I mean), then re-import the songs to your new library.

If you've previously correctly added artwork and tags, they will import correctly. But a lot of people's iTunes / Music library is a complete mess to start with because it seems they haven't a clue how to use the app properly to organise and tag their music, worst offending cases being multi-disc compilation albums.

So update, what worked best was:
1. Copy Music from Mac into Windows, into a specific folder
2. Export Playlist of Library from Mac to Library.xml, and copy to PC
3. Open Library.xml and replace file:///Users/UserName/Music/ with file://localhost/V:/Music/
4. Shift click and open iTunes, and create a new Library
5. Import the updated Library.xml file
6. Let it do it's thing
7. Done - now I have my Library as it was on my Mac including Playlists, Ratings and Play Counts!
