Moving iPhoto library from internal ssd to external firewire.

Since my iPhoto library keeps getting bigger to the point i cant keep it on my internal small ssdanymore, i have to move it to my external. How can one do that painlessly as possible?

Simply copy the iPhoto Library file to your external HDD and upon your next startup of iPhoto, hold down the OPTION/ALT key to select another library.
