Can you move the Itunes music library to another drive and let iTunes use it from there ?

If so what would the process be to do this ?

Yes. Simply drag and drop your iTunes Folder to the other drive. Open iTunes while holding down the Option/Alt key, and navigate to the other drive. iTunes should then remember that location when you use it from then on.
