Moving Magic Mouse 2 from iPad to Mac?

Hi,

I bought a Magic Mouse 2 to use with my iPad Pro. I’m hardly using it and prefer using the trackpad on my Folio Touch (and Penci). So, having paired it with my iPad, what do I need to do to pair it with my MacBook instead? When I ask this question on Google, the answers seem rather indirect.

Thanks. That worked. I was clearly having a stupid moment - the clue really should have been the mouse becoming available to pair again when I clicked forget on the iPad. So moving the mouse between the two systems should be straightforward anyway.
