I have 2 family plans (7 people with phones in my family). I want to move myself and spousal unit out of one plan onto a datashare plan, and then move the two people on the second plan into the first plan. So, I end up with 1 family talk plan and 1 data share plan. I can't figure out any way to do this online and I sat on hold yesterday for an hour with no answer.

Anyone know a way to do this online?

Sorry but you can't complete this online. The lines are slammed with iPhone 5 pre-order issues or people checking every 15 minutes on the status of their pre-order. Could you wait until Monday?

You are trying to split 2 FamilyTalk plans. You will have to call Customer Care at 611 or stop by an AT&T Corp retail store to complete the split. It is very easy for a rep to make this change, however you will want to double check the results match after the changes are complere.

I'm assuming you accomplished this by now, but can I be nosey? Why are you keeping the family plan?

2 things come to mind:
Non-smart phones (only $10 a phone) and/or
unlimited data smart phones;
probably low minute usage for all on a good plan?

Thanks,
Gary
