Moving photos to iMac HD?

I have hundreds of photos on an external HD, that I have connected to my iMac via USB. How do I copy those photos to the HD on my iMac?

NOTE: I figured out how to do it.

What solution did you come up with? Drag and drop?😉

Created a new folder on my HD, named it Photos, and simply dragged and dropped the photo folder into it.
