Yeah, I can't justify owning a car in Chicago. The public transit is really great, and anywhere close I can bike to. So yeah, that's a major upside of living in the city versus the 'burbs.

*sigh* I wish public tranportation was as great over on this side of the world. I usually take anywhere between 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours to college each day, and it's about 25 km from where I live. And that's when you actually get on the bus! On rush hours I usually wait 45 min-1 hour to get on the bus. So classes at 7 am definitely suck.
