Ok, I ordered a new 20" iMac today!

However, every time I have changed systems, I've had the old one there to copy the users and Apps over. This time I have sold my old G5 iMac and won't have it around for the new system.

I have all the Apps on my Powerbook, so it won't be a problem copying them....but the users and all their data. (Oh, and has anyone had any issues moving from G5 to Intel with their applications?)

So, this is what I did (will it work?)
I copied the two home folders for the users to an external drive. On the new system can I create those two users and then copy all the files into the new folders???

Thanks for any help!!

What you're talking about for the users should be fine. However there are some issues migrating across apps form PPC machines to Intel machines. It's almost certainly better to manually reinstall your apps from their original sources. :)
