Ok, I ordered a new 20" iMac today! However, every time I have changed systems, I've had the old one there to copy the users and Apps over. This time I have sold my old G5 iMac and won't have it around for the new system. I have all the Apps on my Powerbook, so it won't be a problem copying them....but the users and all their data. (Oh, and has anyone had any issues moving from G5 to Intel with their applications?) So, this is what I did (will it work?) I copied the two home folders for the users to an external drive. On the new system can I create those two users and then copy all the files into the new folders??? Thanks for any help!!
