Movist - is it still in development?

To those who bought the new Movist from app store.....

Does it have auto resume like MplayerX?
How does it play 1080p movies?
Heat? especially on air.

Answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I really want buy Movist from the MAS, but sadly I read that the dev remove the Full Screen Navigation mode (+N).

It can resume
1080p fine. Dependant on system as always..
No MacBook air so can't test

N does work too, at least in the older version of Movist.

It is like Front Row, just that it navigates your Movies folder.
