mozilla and windows media player

    guys,
    i was trying to download the windows media player from the apple site`s link - donwloads, but i cant !?! also, im trying to watch some online tv, but i need windows media player. i go to their site

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx

    but when i download the WMP for mac OS X, my mac cant read the file and it presents in the text edit application ?!! any ideas ?

    wmp for mac has been discontinued years ago, you should download flip4mac instead.

    thnaks man ! any ideas about the mozilla firefox problem? is it also discontinued for mac ?

    the release of firefox 3.5 beta 4 is imminent, i too have problem accessing their server in past 2 days. Its there for sure, if you can't reach the page www.mozilla.com, you can download it from mirror sites such as http://pv-mirror02.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0.9/mac/en-US/

    I also recommend giving the browser Opera a try. Opera is a much more ingenuitive browser that is better at developing and delivering new features and in a more intuitive way.
