I have a 5,1 12 core 3.46 ghz with 48 gigs of ram and my multicore result is 21249. I'm more concerned with real world performance (this is a raytracing rendering & CAD machine) but I'm wondering how there are so many 5,1s with higher scores by a good margin.

Is it advantageous to be 32-bit?

Thanks for any insight here guys!

Because you are comparing your Geekbench 4 results with the older Geekbench 2 results.

Your numbers are fine. For comparison my 6 core 3.46 GHz: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/1388689

You can still download Geekbench 2.

This is a Hackintosh (Intel Core i7-6950X CPU), no Mac Pro.
