MP Detecting a unconnected LCD TV

My mac pro had two LCD screens (one connected via USB >DVI) and one LCD TV connected DVI>HDMI. I no longer have my tv and my OS is still recognizing it. Is there a way to reset this to detect actual connected screens? I already did the Pram reset but nothing worked and deleted screen preferences but no results.

help!
 
Is the cable still connected? My iMac sometimes thinks that a monitor is connected if the cable is, even if the screen wasn't. You could also try SMC reset.
