I finally got my hands on my new MP with the 1900xt. Before powering it on i thought i'd have a look around inside. Unfortunatly I discovered that the pci retention strip (the bit of metal that holds the pci cards in place, rather than screwing each one in individually) is missing.

The 1900xt had come out of its slot, but fortunatly, due to the plastic guide, hadn't been banging around freely in the case. If reseated the card and it's working fine.

I'd screw the card in directly to the case but the holes to do so haven't been drilled out.

Anyone else have this problem?

Wow, that's the first I heard about this. I'd call Apple and let them take care of it, should be a simple fix..
