Ya their 1gb Apple Mac Pro modules are only 60$. I just ordered 2gb for 120$ Shipped today 🙂 Can't wait!

$59.99 each. Installed it tonight and things are working great. The extra memory always comes in for my Photoshop work.

Well, hat's off to those who got in under the wire. I wish you the best of luck with the memory. Keep in mind, though I think you have to pay return shipping, Newegg's RMA policy is about the best in the business.

I've had this memory running in my Mac Pro for just over a week. No problem at all. The heat sinks appear to be identical to the heat sinks that shipped with the factory 2x512MB modules.

My machine is faster of course, but with Firefox, Safari, Google Earth and iPhoto running, I'm still down to only 53MB free. 😀

Now if only they would make a similar faux pas with their Seagate 7200.10 320 SATA drives....
