iPod MP3 files transferring to iPod problem

I recently downloaded a podcast as an MP3 file. It shows up (and plays) in iTunes, but won't transfer to my ipod. Anything I can do to remedy this?

what do you mean it wont transfer?

did you check the box to sync with your ipod?

It wouldn't show up in my iPod. But it wasn't labeled (which probably shouldn't make a difference), and when I went into iTunes and named its genre as "podcast" it transferred over.
