mp4/mov to Flash converter?

Hi all, first time poster here.

We are trying to convert video we have edited in iMovie to .flv or .swf format for use in an interactive learning object.

Can anyone recommend a tool for doing this - ideally free or low cost? I have googled "mac video to flash converter" and it seems there are lots of products on the market, but I've no idea which to consider/avoid.

If you have the Adobe Creative suite installed you can use the Adobe Media Encoder.
