MP4 won't play back on finder or FCP X

Hi,

I shot some MP4 drone footage on DJI Mavic 3 Pro and used DLOG-M and DLOG. However, when I ingested into Final Cut X I just get black blank video. I tried viewing on finder and get an when I try to open in quicktime i get an error message saying the file could not be opened and "The file isn't compatible with Quicktime Player" Im on 13.5.2 and latest version of Final Cut X.
Strange thing is many of the clips I shot can be viewed. Just some of them can't. (the best off course)

Do they work in VLC? That app can give details about codecs.

I shot in 5.1k btw. Will check vlc.

i updated to 2.27 and still doesnt work. only vlc plays the file.

For a video that only plays in VLC, what does VLC - Window - Media Information (or directly ⌘I) - Codec details show?
