My MBP has been freezing at start up lately. I never had this problem before.
I get the "You need to restart your computer..." message at start up.
The computer doesn't even completely boot up.
I have BootCamp with Vista installed on it so I don't want to wipe the entire HDD and restore it unless its a last resort.
When I boot up on the Vista side, I don't have any issues.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks.

Damn. Do you have any peripherals plugged in? Does it boot into Safe Mode normally (hold SHIFT at startup)? What changes did you make right before this started happening?

Yes I did have my keyboard and mouse plugged in.
I have removed them and restarted and so far it has worked.

The only thinkg that I changed prior to this problem was the wall paper.
Prior to that, I did an update.

Hope it was a flook and now it will be ok.

Are they an Apple keyboard and mouse? Maybe check Console in the Utilities folder to see if the crash logs picked up on anything. 🙂

friedymeister69, try using a different printer driver. What sort of Brother printer is it? Is it connected by USB? 🙂
