Does anyone use MPD? I've been trying to get it working properly, along with ncmpcpp, but have been having a couple issues. It repeatedly crashes when playing m4a files, and I also notice some stuttering/skipping while playing anything. I think the stuttering/skipping can be fixed with trying different buffering settings but I'm not sure about the m4a issue. Any ideas?
I currently have it installed through Homebrew but I also had the same problems with Macports.
