MP All Models MPEG stream clip conversion question

Hi Folks, I have n MP4 file shot on a Sony Action Cam and want to convert to Apple Intermediate Codec to edit in Final Cut Express.

In MPEG steamclip I keep receiving the message:
Error: can’t create the MOV file

Any suggestions please?
