I am trying to edit some Mpeg 2 files in Mpeg Streamclip on Sierra, but it is asking for QuickTimeMPEG2.dmg which you cannot purchase anymore.

I need edit Mpeg2 files without loosing quality and Mpeg Streamclip works for that, but there seems no way to get it working anymore.

Any suggestions on similar software or a way to get Mpeg streamclip working?

Lot's of paid apps for this...I assume the real issue is "free", correct? I am not aware of anything that will do this for free and without conversion (and possible quality loss). However, Handbrake is free and can do the conversion to a format that is editable. It is produces a very high quality conversion (basically using the ffmpeg engine). It might be worth a minuscule and possibly unnoticeable quality loss to attain "free".
