hey guys, i have a ton of .mpg files, and i was wondering what programs there are for mac that will give me easy editing? All that i want to do is edit out commercials.

mpgs are not directly editable in quicktime as a .mov or .avi is.

not much i can offer you but ffmpeg which will let you at least demux them (split them into audio and video files) which quicktime can then RE-encode into something editable.

mpgs suck. and yet they dont.
