Resolved MPG Video

I have some MPG video's that my Mac will open & others not. I have downloaded ilife hoping imovie would open them. I also have Quick Time Player, it will not open them. My confusion is: Can there be different MPC formats ?

There are many different MPG formats. Try downloading and install Perian. You'll have to use Quicktime 7 with Perian.
