as much as we know, we come to these threads for information on the one thing we don't, apple products. sure, we can talk at length about current products and such, but we come together about things we haven't got a clue. release dates, upcoming products, new software, etc. we speculate and stir rumors. but in the end, these are things we just don't know.

I will test this out soon...not for my own benefit, but for the good of the community...

Next time I get a coursework essay, I will submit it here, and let you guys write it...ok?

I think the question is 'how much don't MR members know that a few people (not just insiders) knowledgeable on the subject know', but thats WAY too long...

Of course there are tons of unanswerable (right now) questions involving the universe and so on that we don't know, but I trust MR much more than anywhere else...

i agree the range of knowledge on macrumors is extensive, but sometimes you just get differing opinions on the subject. the thread about whether 0.999... equals 1 comes to mind.

I'm with the great poet Rumsfeld on this one...

As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.

He didn't actually say that did he? . . .

I changed out our garbage disposal yesterday!

Can't seem to get my tub faucet seat valves out to finish that job, though. I never thought I was much of a do-it-yourselfer, but I'm doing ok here lately.

Anyone else like to fix things? (besides computers)

and yet we didn't get google "buy a lemur" ads to appear

about boxing:perhaps because most people find it rather boring in 90% of all fights shown on TV they are promoting a fight for weeks with a 3 hour pre show only to have the fight last for like 5 minutes
