fixed, webserver broken in last update.

PromoCodes are posted elsewhere as unfortunately a certain individual ruined it for others in the MacUsers forums.

Thanks for all the work you do on this app.

Here is a nice testimonial...

My kids were used to using Kodi before on my OpenELEC device. But when I got my AppleTV and started using Plex they were upset. I tried to convince them that everything is in Plex. After MrMC came out I installed it and now I notice that most of time when I turn on/wake-up the AppleTV, it is left in MrMC from them viewing something (other app is Netflix).

KODI is great I've been using it since it was called xbox media center, MRMC is a great app for the atv4.

What do you run your Kodi on? Does it take over the machine you are using it on? Installed last night, could not for the life of me get out of interface without killing the program.

The version I used took over the computer and was called openelec.

Both MrMC and Kodi (ATV4) will go back to tvOS home if you hit menu when at the app home. Kodi has the additional "exit" exposed that will call exit() and stop running. That function is forbidden for Apps in the App Store as apps should never exit and move to the background. The tvOS will terminate apps if needed using the normal API functions.

The standard way to leave a desktop Kodi app is 'esc' on the keyboard when at home. 'esc' and menu on the remote are similar functions in they mean 'go back'

is full and proper support of the remote included in "more"?

we have a poll running over at mrmc forums. interested to know what formats users have their dvd's in, ripped to ISOs or raw video_ts and friends.

I usually use mkv files for hd movies, but if I had to rip dvds I would just rip the movie to an avi file.

Hi

I have Apple Tv 4 connected wirelessly to my router Asus AC87U.

I stream movies from my NAS Synology DS214Play with NFS protocol.

When I stream “big” (more than 20 or 30Gb) movies like m2ts an mkv format I get time to time (every 5 or 10 minutes) some FPS drops.

I do not know why. I also tested with ethernet cable, change HDMI cable, change HDMi input, set max BUFFER in settings, tested with sideloaded Kodi without any success.

I think that Apple TV is not “CPU” power enough. Any solution?

open a thread in mrmc forums, that's where we offer support. mrmc.log with debug active so we can see what is going on.

we are also testflighting 2.x series. you might want in there. see mrmc forums for details.

Can someone answer a straightforward question about this app before I shell out money on it. Does it support streaming from my enigma 2 satellite reciever? I ask because you tube videos clearly show a plugin that does this , yet the app description for mrmc clearly states that no plugins are supported

Binary addons are supported and included. there is nothing to add. All 'pvr' handle is done with binary pvr addons.

Python and user installed python addons are not supported.

Is there any way to get a refund, this thing is really slow loading anything, and sometimes it freezes, i am sticking with Plex
