After reading some reviews, it seems Office 2008 is an improvement over the 2004 version, except Excel (2008 Excel does not have VBA).

So, is it reasonable to replace 2004's Word, PowerPoint, & Entourage with the 2008 versions while keeping 2004 Excel? I am trying to determine the only negative for the 2008 is its Excel (due to its lack of VBA) and the rest of the 2008 Office suite is better or improved over the 2004.

As sad as this may sound, I kept 2004 when I installed 2008. So I have both on my computer. 2008 for everyday use and 2004 for when I need to do something 2008 doesnt allow
