I'm sure, and given that security updates will be no more at about the time 10.13 ships, it'd be pretty foolhardy to continue using Office 2011.
I have an Office 365 subscription and so I have the option of running both Office 2011 and 2016. 2011 has a much smaller footprint (something like 1.4GB vs 10GB) and is more responsive than 2016.

^^^^Ya know your right. Office 2011 on my machine is 1.32GB Office 2016 is 7.82GB. I don't really notice a difference in responsiveness, except that the font menu is so much faster on 2016 than that creaky old 2011 font menu.

I did a Google search for Office 2016 and see several offers for licensed copies for less than $100. They don't say they're the subscription version. Anyone know if these are legit? I wonder if they're reselling $10 Home Use Program licenses.

That's great, I will check that out. Why is it so much cheaper than the $230+ version on Microsoft's site?

I paid $6 for a Windows 7 Home Premium license from a reputable eBay seller. They have MS Office licenses as well for $5-7. I'm looking to see if they have any for the mac version.

^^^^Some of my eBay experiences have not gone well and I have been left holding the bag. Others OK. I'm extremely leery of eBay and use them as little as possible.
