I would be surprised if anyone knows the answer to this, but I'd be happy!

I set up Remote Desktop on my XP machine. My XP machine is not on our domain. When I'm on a networked computer (a computer that's on my network's domain), I can connect fine. However, when I'm on a computer that's not on the domain (XP or Mac), it can't connect. Any ideas?

What name or IP address are you using to connect to your XP box? Make sure that it's one that can be used when not on your domain -- for example, I can use "nadyne-svc" when I'm in my office, but when I'm at home, I have to use the full "nadyne-svc.microsoft.com" to get to it.

Regards,
Nadyne.
