Hi everyone,

after a working day's worth of using Microsoft Remote Desktop the activity monitor shows that this process has written 1.5 gigabytes of data to my local disk.

I'm not downloading anything from the remote desktop, no shared folders, etc. and as far as I am concerned this wear on my SSD is neither necessary nor desired.

Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Using mac os 10.14.6 and the latest MS Remote Desktop from the app store.

Best regards!

Thanks for the input. I agree with you that the remote desktop app doesn't do very much, but that's why all the disk activity shouldn't occur in the first place.

But SSD wear doesn't seem to be an issue in real life anyway.
