Hello,

A friend of mine is working on an 86-page doc and MS Word 2004 (v. 11.1) keeps telling her "memory is low, save your work now". She's not running any other apps (except MSN Msgr) but has two other docs open. She's running OS X 10.4.6 and 1 GB of RAM.

Any thoughts on what the problem could be or a possible solution? I told her to split up her documents but that doesn't seem to help. We're afraid of data loss.

Thanks!

How much free space is on the HDD? Check activity monitor for RAM usage. Can't think of anything else.

What's Word v. 11.1?

EDIT: 11.1 is just what they call Word 2004: Mac Edition.
