I decided to replace the HDD in my ancient but trusty 2009 Pro. But it seems I've inadvertently bought an mSATA (Crucial MX200 500gb) instead of a 2.5 inch SSD. One of the (minor) attractions apart from the keen price was the free cloning software.
The online supplier will accept return but before I did that I thought I'd ask this forum if it's worth trying to use it with an adapter? And if so are such adapters readily/cheaply available online?
Or would is simply be easier to return it, write off the return freight charges to experience and start again with a 2.5" version? (best-value brand?). Cheers.
