mSATA SSD - Macbook Pro?

I found an mSATA SSD card and curious if anyone has installed this in their macbook pro? I am assuming an adapter is needed. Thoughts?
 
It would still be bottlenecked by the SATA 3 connection. The gain is probably that you slice of a couple of ounces on the weight.
 
I'd assume its for the cMBP. To put an m-sata card in the 2,5 inch slot through an adapter.
