MSN messenger mac, slow tranfer

transfering files in messenger mac is so painfully slow anybody fixed that?

You don't need the same application to send files, just to be connected over the same protocol.

For example;
Friend = Windows Live Messenger
Me = Adium

I can send/receive files...although slow

Might just have to experiment.
