MSN messenger mac, slow tranfer

transfering files in messenger mac is so painfully slow anybody fixed that?😡

You don't need the same application to send files, just to be connected over the same protocol.

For example;
Friend = Windows Live Messenger
Me = Adium

I can send/receive files...although slow 🙄

Might just have to experiment.
