There are a few sites that have web messengers, so I'd assume they should work with the iPhone.

http://iphone.beejive.com is the one i use.

Better than any of the others I've used but i think a native messenger client will be a certainty when the SDK and App Store is officially launched.

Beejive is the best one so far. I hope they make a regular app for the iPhone.

there is an app on iphone

to download msn, aol, and so on you have to go to installer, from installer you go to all packages and there is a file named apollo wich is a program for msn, aol, etc. it works great:)

To get Installer/Cydia you have to JailBreak your iPhone.

it seems that there are some people that can't or have some problems in JailBreak process..

It's safe and there is rollback process if something goes wrong?

    Thanks

This thread is several months old and there are now several clients available from the App Store that do not require jailbreaking. Personally I use Palringo. If you're concerned about jailbreaking then try some of the App Store software first.
