I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro 13" i7. After reading Anandtech's review where he confirmed TurboBoost was working in OSX using MSR Tools, I've been unsuccessfully trying to use the program to confirm.
Here's what I've tried:
I've booted the computer into 32bit mode (kernal and extensions) and confirmed using System Profiler. I've installed MSR Tools to my harddrive and opened the program. The program window appears and OS X prompts me for my password. The program window says "initializing" as I'm typing in my password. After I type it in, the program window is just a blank gray window and no information ever appears. I've read about others having a similar issue, but the only suggestion is to boot into 32 bit mode.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to work? It clearly works as Anandtech got it working with the same model of computer. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
