i don't know if there are any MUBI fans here, but they've just released their Apple TV app and it's a thing of beauty. They've been on other platforms, such as the PS4, iOS, Android, and Fire TV for a while, and they use the same gorgeous UI on their Apple TV app.
For those that don't know, MUBI is a movie steaming service in a bunch of countries (I'm in the UK) which focuses on non mainstream fare, - cult, art house, classic etc. They throw in the odd fairly modern mainstream Hollywood pick sometimes, but mostly it's stuff you probably haven't heard of, which is the whole point of the service. It also has a continually changing library, so you get 30 films to choose from, and each day the oldest one is removed and a new one is added.
The app is beautiful as I mentioned and it even has top shelf support. No Siri yet but that's blocked until Apple release the API to developers.
Yesterday's film was suitably xmas themed too - Satoshi Kon's wonderful movie Tokyo Godfathers.
