I am using my iPhones always Caseless when I am at home or when I just go out to my friends house.
When we do some outdoor Activitys or for Travelling I always use either the Nomad Leather Folio (sice Apple does not make Folios anymore) and Apple Leather or Silicon Case. But right now instead of Apple Cases I am in love with the Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro for the 14 Pro Max. An absolutely fantastic case.

I totally forgot Apple use to have their own folios! What was the last iPhone model that Apple made them for?

Otterbox Defender series - hands down the best protective case the iPhone or iPad can get.

I'm an Otterbox guy. I used the Symmetry and Commuter but for my 14PM, I went with the Defender Pro XT. The Commuter provides the best of both worlds in terms of protection/slimness but it doesn't have magsafe. Otherwise, I'd be rocking the Commuter again.

Wowsa. Lot of Otterbox praise this year. I personally don’t need that kind of protection but I’m interested.

I tried the Symmetry+ clear for my 14 Pro before changing up to the Pro Max. The Symmetry+ is honestly a really good balance between slimness and protection. Might’ve been my long term choice if I didn’t make the decision to go Apple Leather and Nomad Rugged.

The new version of the Defender XT is almost perfect in my opinion, not as bulky as the regular Defender but still very protective, feels good in the hand and strong MagSafe magnets

Spigen Ultra Hybrid with MagSafe. I buy this case for ALL of my phones. I'm using a Pitaka on my 14 Pro right now, but I often go back to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid.

if I had to pick one, I think it would be Sheath after running with that and red OEM silicone. its a tough call though, they both have their merits but I think I will now have to grab a Sheath for future iPhones as well along with standard procedure of at least one (usually a few) apple cases... unless something substantially better comes along (subjective of course).

but super fan of the Sheath, whereas I used to be a lukewarm fan of the Sheath a handful of generations ago.

I love how ostentatious the red is with the black pro max and contrast-y, but something about that all stealth look with the black Sheath.

I love Apple Silicone cases when they color-match perfectly (like the Clover with my green 13 mini), but they just wear down too quickly and end up letting the phone get damaged. So probably the MagSafe Clear Case if I have to choose one, as strange as that is to hear myself say. It’s just that the fit is perfect on my mini and it offers relatively robust protection (while letting the color show through).

The fit of the MagSafe Clear Case on my soon-to-be-returned 14 Pro is kinda janky and loose, though. :(

I bought my wife a pink pomelo silicone case not even two weeks ago and it’s already chipping off on two corners. WTH Apple?

For what it's worth, there has been one case I use iPhone after iPhone since the 7:

Spigen Ultra Hybrid.

It's the best blend of soft matte feel, clear hard plastic back (so won't yellow), raised camera bump to protect lens (with raised tabs at the other three corners so it lies flat), and a generous lip on the front screen to protect it.

**edit: Wuh-Oh.... Guess they gave up on the flush back from camera bump 🤣

I answered the same thing, too. I’ve had such great success with the Ultra Hybrid. It’s a must buy.

I have a few:

MagBak
Apple Leather - Ink
Speck Presidio2 Grip
OtterBox Defender XT
Smartish GripZilla

and a few more on their way:

Mous Walnut Limitless 5.0
ESR Classic Kickstand Case with HaloLock - Clear

Atm, I alternate between GripZilla and the Apple one.

when at home or when I know im going somewhere that will never drop my phone or damage it; I don't use a case; but when I go out for a ride or to work I love my rokform case I keep both magnets its become super useful sticking your phone anywhere. for example when working on a vehicle just put your phone under the car and put a video on like a tutorial. The magnets are strong and great for a case
