hey i hav the 2010 mpb with office for mac 2011 preinstalled, it also came with a cd.

is it possible that i can use that cd to install it on a new mac(s), and if so would i need to uninstall it from my 2010 mbp first?

thanks.

It depends on the license. I have Office 2008 for Mac and the license allows me to install it on three machines. There's a different license key for each machine so you probably need to find your license agreement and see what it says and find the different license keys.

I have Office 2011 (bought as a digital download) with 3 licenses and it only has 1 code. I've installed it on 2 machines so far, and both times it reached out to Microsoft to activate.
